NATALIE ROMAN’S BIO

I remember wanting to pursue a career in the salon industry since I was in middle school. Finding myself in the bathroom for countless hours doing my hair as well as my sister and friends was a normal pastime and, with very little resources, I was always excited with the results of every creation. Using my mom’s aluminum foil, or grocery store shopping bags to get the right result was pretty normal for me.

Being a hairstylist allows me to do two things I am passionate about. Art, and making people feel beautiful. Before venturing out on my own as the owner of The Hair Lair Studio at South Park, I had the honor of working at Modern Salon for 10 year, where I learned professional styling, master coloring, hair painting (Balayage), razor cutting and keratin treatments. I was privileged to also become an educator, teaching styling techniques to new hairstylists, as well as providing education in keratin treatments.

The industry inspires me to continue my education: learning new fashion trends and techniques to provide my clients with exceptional service. I enjoy taking time to build long lasting relationships with my clients and understand you have a choice on where to get your hair done.

Some of the continued education I have received includes American Balayage with Beth Mardi, Razor Cutting with Geno Chapman, Updos with Allen Ruiz, and Hair Color Magic with Lupe Voss, just to name a few.

Taking the time to truly listen to my clients is my key to ensuring every experience is relaxing and enjoyable.

When not behind a chair, I enjoy spending time with my family, singing, and cooking for my family and friends.
